NAG 2011 - Under-2 Age Group Girls Winner!!!

The undisputed champion of the U-2 Girls Event. She even gave her opponent a handicap, a queen. Such generosity and confidence oozing out from such a young participant. Spectators (in the background) could not help but be drawn to witness such intensity from the game.

Because of their maturity these girls, thanks to their professionalism and honesty did not need to record their moves. Also due to her generous nature White lets Black make two moves. We wanted to show you the game, but that darn Chessbase program doesn't have the function to record where a player makes two moves in a row. Should this flaw be taken up with Chessbase?

Like Bobby Fischer, playing chess gives her utmost, ultimate joy. Never mind the fact that she did not make any moves yet while her quick opponent has made two moves.

The Most Important Venue at the NAG 2011, UTP

Other than the playing hall, many players were seen milling around the...

Kind Gesture goes a wrong, I mean, a long way

What?!! Is he showing his you-know-which fingers?!!

Shame on you if you thought you saw what you thought you saw! Look carefully lah! This Thor wannabe is just showing you "Number One" "Number One". These are kind gestures lah! Shame on you!

Answering Nature's Call at UTP is Risky Business

Attending to our business (to go to the toilet lah) at the Dewan Chancellor (the playing hall) at UTP was risky business...

To get to the washroom these two begin their dangerous descent down the winding staircase (without any protective gear!)

They had to spiral down through many sharp bends. Timing is of importance here. To badly corner a bend could land one in a premature poo-poo, we mean, boo-boo.

Oops slow down Yit San, don't forget to wait for the U-6 Girls Champion...

The journey down was fraught with danger. But mankind has triumphed once again. The quest for the prized relic (the toilet bowl lah) has been conquered. Nature's Call has been answered.

Aiyoh... How to get back up? Umm... anybody there? Can somebody throw a rope or ladder down?  *help* (Ai yeuh! No face lah. This is like Indiana Jones turned Phua Chu Kang!)

Meanwhile at the top, Nature's call got the better of our intrepid Thor wannabe. Seeing how the rest couldn't make it back up from the washroom, he decided to give in to the Light.
